Blackberry Kilns is a bespoke 3 bedroom residential dwelling with a separate guest annexe, set within the Kent Downs.
The architectural design takes inspiration from the historic 19th century lime kilns located near the site, incorporating distinctive curved walls, a charred cladding and flint brick exterior, reflecting the area's industrial heritage. The curved structure introduced an additional level of complexity to the construction, requiring careful coordination between the prefabricated timber elements and bespoke on site detailing.
Positioned within an elevated landscape, the house has been designed to make the most of its surrounding views while offering a unique but visually stunning finish. Internally, advanced lighting deisgn and technologies complement the architectural features, enhancing the living spaces and overall functionality of the home.
