View Point is a bespoke five-bedroom, eight-bathroom residential property arranged over three floors, set within the High Weald National Landscape in Surrey. Designed by Hawkes Architecture, the project was the first Paragraph 55 dwelling to receive planning consent in the UK, establishing an important precedent for exceptional architectural design within protected rural landscapes.
The property forms part of a 109-acre former stud farm, with the architectural design taking inspiration from traditional agricultural buildings and the surrounding countryside. Internally, the property provides five spacious bedrooms, eight bathrooms and generous living areas distributed across three floors.
The accommodation includes a distinctive sunken lounge, with contemporary finishes and bespoke detailing throughout. The main residence is complemented by two separate external annexes, a private gym, office and stables, providing flexible accommodation and additional facilities suited to both family living and the property's equestrian setting. The property achieved an exceptional SAP energy performance score of 121, demonstrating the effectiveness of its low-carbon design and construction approach.
