West Lodge represents an important milestone in UK residential construction as the first Rubner prefabricated building kit to be installed in the country.
The architectural design combines modern prefabricated construction with a carefully selected palette of traditional materials. Externally, red brickwork, timber and roof tiling give the property a timeless appearance, while the spacious interior provides five bedrooms, three bathrooms and dedicated areas for fitness and relaxation, including a private gym and sauna.
As the first project of its kind in the UK, West Lodge presented a unique construction opportunity, bringing together specialist off-site manufacturing and traditional on-site craftsmanship to deliver a high-quality, bespoke family home.
